The Ferrari F40 is a rear-wheel-drive, mid-engine supercar built from 1987 to 1993, celebrated as the final Ferrari approved by Enzo himself and a successor to the 288 GTO. It was the first production car to exceed 200 mph (320 km/h) thanks to its 2.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and lightweight carbon-fiber construction, weighing only 1100 kg. Known for its "stripped-out" interior, extreme performance, dramatic styling by Pininfarina, and aggressive race-car feel, the F40 is considered a legendary and highly sought-after collectible.
