The Mercedes-Benz 190E Evolution II (W201) was a limited-production, homologation special from 1990, designed to make the 190E competitive in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM). It is known for its aggressive aerodynamic body kit, featuring a large adjustable rear wing, fender flares, and a front splitter, which significantly improved downforce and performance. Under the hood was a 2.5-liter, 16-valve Cosworth-developed inline-4 engine producing 235 horsepower, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and an ASD electronically controlled locking differential.
