The 1956–1958 Studebaker Golden Hawk is a high-performance, 2-door personal luxury coupe known for its powerful V8 engines, distinctive fiberglass tailfins (in '56), and Raymond Loewy-influenced styling. As a "proto-pony car," it featured a large Packard 352ci V8 (275 hp) in 1956, switching to a supercharged 289ci V8 in 1957–58.
